Verdict

JAEGER (2) resumed from a spell in the spring and failed to race up to expectations. He has been given time to get over that and will have Craig Grylls in the saddle this time, which, for this stable, is a strong lead. Hard to beat. RIPPANALL (4) ruined his chances with a slow start fresh up at Whanganui 3 weeks ago. Jonathan Riddell in the saddle is a positive jockey change, and he is expected to be a sharp improver. Each way. ANDERSON BRIDGE (5) ran some good races when trained in Sydney by Chris Waller and he make his NZ debut for the Gray Stable. He won a recent Woodville trial and will be ready to rumble. Check the markets. HOORAH HENRY (1) unleashed a bog run from well back to score by nearly 2 lengths at Otaki. He is still learning about racing, but can repeat the dose. CASINO (7) ran on nicely late when finishing fifth as the favourite at Whanganui 3 weeks ago, and she will have the winkers on for this assignment. She has plenty of scope and can take this out.
