ARCTIC JEWEL (9) had been to the fore at her trials before finishing runner-up as a short-priced favourite on debut at Avondale nearly 3 weeks ago. A firmer surface won't bother her, and even from a wide gate, she is the one to beat in this modest field. BEST IN BLACK (7) needed her first run back from a spell and will have the winkers on, as well as a tongue tie this time. A better draw with a kilo less to carry, she should finish a lot closer this time. Include in all combinations. REAL MONEY (2) had a couple of trials last season before having a spell, and was back at the Taupo trials late last month, scoring by nearly a length. Hard to beat on debut, especially if the money comes for him. WATCH ME GO (1) was put aside after finishing third in both of his starts last season on the Cambridge poly track. A recent quiet trial would have brought his fitness along, and he should pick up a maiden win at short notice. GLACIAL STORM (10) was third on debut here 15 days ago. Each way.
