Verdict

BLACK DIAMOND (9) is a promising filly who has been close up in the money in each of her 2 starts to date. A wide gate here is the only draw back we see, and hopefully Craig Grylls can find a handy spot early on. Hard to beat. PADDY MURPHY (3) was an improver at the trials before finishing third here on debut 3 weeks ago over this trip. He will probably be looking for more ground, but he will still be running on strongly in this. Each way. KAIROS (1) fought on gamely when finishing second here 5 weeks ago on a heavy track. The gap between runs is a query, but with the aid of the pole position, he can figure in the top 3 again. DRAGONSTONE (4) has been showing pace in his last couple of starts before weakening in the run home. He will still be getting stronger, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos in a field like this. MUST BEE (12) came to the end of her run in front at Avondale 11 days go and finished fifth. She will be peaking third up, and is not the worst at odds.
