She has the early speed to cross from a wide draw and can take this out. TOP SHELF (2) resumes after seven months, having finished second in G2 company over 1 ¼m at Te Rapa to close her last prep. She wants more ground but can snatch this fresh up. HAKKINEN (1) was outclassed in the New Zealand Derby over 1 ½m at Ellerslie six-and-a-half months ago. He is well placed here and will be running on. Watch for him late. ON THE TOWN (5) is first-up since May 31 but started his last campaign strongly, placing over 6 ½f at this track. He is worth consideration for all multiples. BALLISTIC MISS (14) will be resuming from a brief freshen up, and the market will be the best guide to her chances.
