BORN TO BE ROYAL (5) is a promising filly who faced a stronger field in her last race on March 29, finishing seventh behind La Dorada over 7f in the G1 Manawatu Sires Produce at Trentham. She was runner-up at G2 level before that and is the one to beat fresh up in maiden company. CURZON PARK (1) resumed from a spell and was close to the winner, finishing fourth over 6f at Te Rapa. He strips fitter and should be positioned just behind the leaders, making him a strong each-way chance here. MAGIC CARPET (2) impressed on debut, finishing third over 6f at Te Rapa in a tougher race. With a favourable draw, he's likely to be in the mix. ORATIA BEAUTY (6) returned from a break two weeks ago, finishing fourth over 6f at Ruakaka.
