GRACE DAY (11) pushed forward and led throughout to score a 9 length win over 6 ½f at this track last time. Has the speed to overcome the draw and is a leading hope. DONGGANGUI STAR (7) returns from a layoff of three months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 5f at this track. Has found a suitable race. J ONE POWER (10) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6 ½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. The engagement of Kim Hyo Jung is noteworthy. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. STORM TROOPER (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in eighth over 6f at this track. No surprise to see him in contention.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

Pari-Mutuel

A pool style wagering system, where all money input through betting is divided among those with winning tickets (save for various deductions by the track operators).

Exacta

A bet selecting the first and second horses in a race in the correct order. An exacta box refers to paying a little more to ensure they can finish in either order.
