Verdict

AFFAIRE VUE (8) brings the strongest recent profile, with two wins this campaign before a sound fifth in a BM64 at Morphettville where she led and was only beaten two lengths. Her record at this track and around the mile is a clear advantage, and Todd Pannell going back aboard strengthens the case. This is well within her grasp. YOROKOBI (7) is the main threat off a solid season, having gone close at Balaklava before a fair fifth over 1 ¼m in Saturday company, and he handles wet ground well enough for these conditions. Include. EXTRA CHILL (12) has been below market expectations at her past two, but her Strathalbyn and 1m record keeps her firmly in the mix if she jumps well. BIG RITA JUNE (10) solid Morphettville third in Class 1 company last start and has won at this track, though the mile remains the query. Include.
