DIDACTIC (2) went better than the form guide suggest on debut at Murray Bridge. Has been kept a month between runs, keeping the legs ticking over with a trial. Rises sharply to the mile and could be a big improver. WINSTON'S PRIDE (6) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over this track and trip when he was in the firing line all the way. Gets a key switch in Toeroek and only needs to hold his form to be winning this time. EXTRA CHILL (7) comes through the same race. She gave away a big start and only warmed late to finish fourth. Strips fitter third-up and if Milnes can have her closer she can play a major role. FULLHEADOFSTEAM (3) is finding it hard to break through but has runs littered through his form that can stack up for a race of this depth (or lack thereof). Not dismissing. OR AM I (8) has had plenty of cracks to break through albeit not through a lack of effort. Has peaks that can threaten.
