IT'S A SOLID DEEL (7) changed yards and had two runs here at the end of the last season and ran on solidly at each for two fourths. Given a long spell and looks well placed here fresh. Expected to go close. INDIAMO (6) has been safely held last couple of starts, the latest on soft ground at the provincials. Trip suits and drawn for a cosy run on the inside. Should be winding up late. RENEGADE CHIEF (8) placed on debut at Clare, then was safely held on wet ground at Gawler. Up in trip and this easier. Worth another chance. GIFTERA (12) was good fresh and rates highly on that run. Will just need a good steer from a wide gate. SURVEY LANE (9) is an interesting runner. 42 start maiden nine-year-old trained here but has been poor last two. Has placed 2/4 this course and distance and with the claim has to go into multiples.
