Verdict

GARGANTUAN (1) caught the eye fresh when rattling home into second at Wodonga last month. Made it two placings on the bounce last time when sent forward from the wide draw on the syntho. Peaking now and looks the one to beat. VICTORY QUEEN (7) was no match for a tearaway winner last start at Mt Gambier but was a good winner the start prior. Will likely drift back from her draw and be charging hard late. EXONUMIA (4) was much better last time when closing off strongly into second at Port Augusta. Hasn't won for a long time but he doesn't need to improve much to finally break through. RIVAZZA (6) has mixed her form this prep but has the peaks to measure up. Backs up quickly from her fourth at Murray Bridge last time and is right in the mix off that effort. FLYWAY (2) didn't make an impression last time but has earlier form that measures right up. Not dismissing completely.
