VEE ROD (7) wasn't disgraced in city class 62 at Oakbank. Missed a nose at Mt Gambier prior, and will find this more suitable. He can feature with average luck in the run. SCENIC HOST (5) improved missing 1L here over a mile. Placed his only run here over 1 ¼m and is ready for the step-up. CROWN AND ANCHOR (2) has won at Clare over 1 ?m in two of his last three starts. Has to push forward from a wide gate, but he'd be in the mix if that works out. ALBLAZER (4) was outgraded at Warrnambool but missed a nose over 1 ?m at Mt Gambier prior.
