Very open staying contest. HIGH SOCIETY GIRL (8) hasn't won for 68 weeks but her recent form suggests a win is imminent. Shuffled back before the turn then got going again to grab third behind Retourne over this distance at Morphettville a fortnight ago. Beautifully in after King's claim - today might be her day. NOTTOLOOK (6) won a couple at the Victorian provincials then did a good job to run on into third over 1 ½m at Sandown last time. Drops 4kgs for this fifth racetrack appearance. Promising stayer from the Payne stable who can beat this field without surprising. VALUED (11) came from a long way back to register an overdue win over 1 ¼m here last start. Steps up to Saturday grade but at the weights he comes right under notice. RETOURNE (4) defeated a few of today's key rivals over this trip at Morphettville two weeks ago. Getting up in the weights but difficult to knock. HAALAND (5) rarely wins but has placed at four of six over this testing trip. Each-way claims.
