EL PASO CITIE (10) lifted strongly first-up at Bordertown, just missing the winner over this trip. Strips fitter and another big run is expected. HEDONIST (5) was too bad to be true when resuming at Geelong, but his form last campaign is well above this grade. From the inside draw he should be much more prominent and is worth another chance. LIKE A DIAMOND (12) chased gamely behind El Paso Citie when resuming and will have tightened up nicely. Crowther takes over and from a good draw she must be taken seriously. QUIK RHAPID (4) is another likely improver and boasts a strong record at the journey. Don't dismiss.
