LADY OF SAVOY (7) returns for the Clarken camp and while she mixed his form last campaign his peaks stack right up and her trials in readiness suggest she's come back in great order. Expect her to drift back from the wide alley and be charging late. VICTORY QUEEN (11) profiles similarly and also returns. Strips fitter for two trials and was good when resuming last campaign when beaten narrowly at Clare. Can run a big race fresh. GOPHER FRANK (2) was below his best last time at Ararat but had much better in his two runs prior. Has been freshened with 32 days and is two-time winner at this venue. Draws the inside for Opperman and is expected to improve sharply fourth-up. MELISSA KATE (12) was a big improver third-up here when only beaten a head. Can keep the momentum going.
