Intriguing race and it could turn into a tactical affair in the small field. Happy to back the newcomer to SA, JUNGLE JET (2) to make a good impression. He's never won first-up and he's yet to win below 1 5/16m so whatever he does, he can improve on. But he might just be too good. KODIAK BEAR (1) is the highest rated horse in the field and looks some threat. He was only fair first-up but his record suggests he improves with a run under his belt. IDON'TGETIT (3) has been mixing his form on wet tracks. He's drawn wide but the senior jockey goes on and he can run in the money. Worth including last start winners SPEC RAIDER (6) and FOUR OUTLAWS (4) who both have obvious winning chances.
