MAGNETIC CHESS (4) resumes for the Dabernig camp and looks desperate to break through soon. Showed positive signs in his debut prep and has jumped out sharply in readiness. Draws well and gets a key booking in Opperman. The one to beat. ZARUBINA (9) also returns and while she's had plenty of chances to get off the mark there's plenty of efforts in there that can measure up here. Strips fitter for two hitouts, though will need a smart steer from the wide alley. TAAJWAR (5) also finds the maiden win elusive but has peaks that stack up. Keeping safe ET TU KIRKLISTON (3) has trialled well in readiness for his first start and is another to keep in mind, especially if there's market support.
