Verdict

BELLA ANGELICA (8) showed good speed last time at Warrnambool before fading late into fourth. The drop back to a shorter trip looks ideal, and with the claim she carries very little weight. Peaking now and should prove tough to run down. BEL HOTESSE (9) has been below her best in her last two but her earlier form reads well for this. Backs up quickly and with Crowther engaged she's worth another chance in a thin race. SUNSET PRAYER (4) is a daughter of The Autumn Sun and debuts off a Bordertown trial placing. Retains Livesey from the trials and she can make an impact first-up. TUFFEN UP (6) is a well-related filly by All Too Hard out of Down The Corridor, dam of black-type performers including Press Down. Trial form suggests she'll need to lift but she deserves respect. ZANELE (5) trialled well before debuting but didn't fire. Should improve with that experience and is worth another look.
