SHADOW EAGLE (3) took bad luck out of the equation at Murray Bridge when leading all the way second up to score by over 5 lengths. This gelding is normally ridden off the pace, so these new tactics have obviously agreed with him. This is not much harder, and with an extra 1f to travel, he will again be hard to peg back. FLOREY (11) finished third by a length as a loose favourite at Murray Bridge 3 weeks ago, finishing off her race powerfully over 7f. The step up to a mile is ideal, and she can have the last say this time. Follow your money. SOMEWHERE SOON (12) was well ridden when scoring an effortless win on the Parks circuit here 4 weeks ago. She stays in a similar grade, and a clever 7lbs claim will mean that she carries less weight. Hard to beat again. ALL TOO MYSTI (7) got a long way back from a wide gate last start, and probably also needed the run when finishing seventh. She has won 2 of her 3 starts over the trip, and she will be a sharp improver. Each way.
