Verdict

FIORA BLUE (4) appreciated the step in distance at the second run of the prep, boxing on well for third over 1 ?m at this track a fortnight ago. Has raced well over this trip in the past. Cherry ripe now and this looks the perfect set-up. DARCI LANE (3) bolted in when fresh from a 39-day break over the mile at Strathalbyn two back. Probably needed more ground last Saturday when down the track, again at 1m. Lightly raced four-year-old who should relish this first go at ten furlongs. CAPULET (6) has led for the judge at her last three runs but failed to finish off. Drops in class today so she might prove tougher to catch. LONGER ROUTE (1) never got involved over 1 ?m here last weekend when well in the market. Might be worth one more chance over this longer journey. DOCTOR ROBERT (2) returned to form with a close second over 1 ?m here a fortnight ago. Finding it hard to win these days but is worth each-way consideration.
