Verdict

ORLOVA (4) put two on the bounce in good style in SA before heading to Caulfield last time but was well below her best. Drops back to the mile two weeks between and keeps the 7lbs claimer to get in a treat at the weights. Expecting a sharp bounce back. CENTU CAVADDI (3) didn't give his rivals a sniff last time at Sale when dictating from the front. Has good tactical speed and gets a key booking in Holder. Will take some reeling in. OLATUNDE (6) doesn't win out of turn and while he's been mixing his form this prep, his peaks measure right up. Mile suits. OFFICIATE (2) was solid fresh in tricky conditions on the Parks track. Is sure to have come on from that and deserves respect. PRANCING FOOL (11) drove hard to shed her maiden tag here last time over this trip. Obviously tougher now but she's got plenty of scope for improvement.
