RONNY BEE (1) has spotted big starts before launching late in his two runs back. Third-up now, they'll be very keen to have him closer in the run. If he's within striking distance at the bend, he'll take plenty of holding out. IRREFUTABLY (10) caught the eye fresh but was flat second-up. He'll drift back again from the draw, but third-up he should be launching hard late. ZARKANA (8) is another who does her best work late, and she's ticking along nicely. From the middle draw she maps to blend in beautifully, and Crowther should have her bursting through at the right time. HEADPHONES (5) hasn't won for a while but was going well before a flat effort last start. Happy to forgive, and from the inside alley, if she can settle handy she can cause some grief. MAGIC PRINCESS (14) is holding her form and can add value to wider exotics.
