Tough one to close the big card. TAUPO TIGER (3) has a poor strike rate but was very good Saturday week ago over 1m here, working home in good style to get up for second in a BM62. Handles this longer trip without any difficulty. Looks ideally placed to make a rare trip to the winner's stall. YOROKOBI (5) wound up strongly and was beaten under a length at his latest outing over 1m at Strathalbyn. Maps nicely from a favourable draw and should be highly competitive again over the longer journey. DARCI LANE (2) absolutely bolted in two back over the mile at Strathalbyn then stepped up to Saturday company more recently and struggled. In the right race to bounce back to form. SILVALOA (1) gave away too much start and finished fifth over 1m at Strathalbyn last start. Again draws a wide gate which makes it tough but should be getting home hard over the extra 1f. BIG RITA JUNE (7) improves each time she is produced this prep and should be peaking now at the fifth run in.
