Verdict

I AM RALPH (2) made it two wins from his last three outings when he dug deep to win a BM62 over the mile here last Saturday. Failed off a seven-day back-up earlier in the prep but that was on a bog track. Going well enough to salute again. GIN RUMMY (5) ran a much better race last time out, leading for home and giving a great kick only to be ambushed near the line in a mile race at Strathalbyn. Should go forward again with the blinkers back on today and might be hard to reel in. HUBRISTIC (14) returned from an eight-week let-up with a comprehensive victory recently over 1m at Penola. At her best over this trip so from a good draw she should be in the finish again. GRUELLING (10) hasn't been far away at his last couple. Race fit now so could be ready to peak.
