Verdict

SHADHAVAR (8) lived right up to market expectation fresh when making light work of her rivals at Murray Bridge. She gets in light jumping to Listed level, making her mighty hard to run down. She's on her way through. ARKANSAW KID (1) was well below his best last start at Te Rapa over 7f but his prior form was outstanding - only just missing to G1 William Reid winner Jigsaw two back. He drops to a pet trip off 49 days, keeping the legs ticking over with a Flemington jump-out. The big weight is the only concern. SA warrior CHICAGO STORM (2) resumes and is as versatile as they come. You'd expect them to take a sit, stalk the strong speed and look to burst through late. GREAT MAXIMUS (5) and DIRTY GRIN (4) are others who will relish a hot tempo and can charge late if the gaps appear. RUE DE ROYALE (6) has excellent tactical speed and will give himself every chance again rolling forward.
