Verdict

AFTER SUMMER (14) brings strong Sydney form and is a proven stayer at this level. The wide draw is a hurdle, but with a touch of Egan magic she should be right there fighting out the finish again. ACCIDENTAL BID (17) is full of upside and profiles similarly to a high-class SA Derby winner Russian Camelot. He maps for a soft run and looks a very capable type. ENGINE OF WAR (8) finished off well from the back behind Impulsive Reaction in the Chairman's here last week. He backs up quickly and should relish the rise to 1 ?/16m. SILVASISTA (15) made it two dominant wins on the bounce when taking out the St Leger last week. Also on the quick back-up, she's sure to loom as a major threat at some stage. KAZARU (16) has had little luck in her past two but has been hitting the line strongly. The draw makes things tricky, but she's one to watch late at big odds.
