STRAAND DEAL (4) has been building the right platform, hitting the line well when resuming and then leaving himself with too much to do at Caulfield but still warming late, and now third up with blinkers on and Zahra sticking he looks the clear one to beat. EISMOND (7) is the fascinating Japanese import who stretched out stylishly to score on Australian debut over this trip and is sure to have tightened since, making her a genuine threat. TYUSIX (6) doesn't win out of turn but is honest and consistent enough to be in the fight again. AITCH D'AMICO (8) keeps threatening without landing the blow and has proven frustrating for punters but his best is good enough if he finally produces it. TALISAY (5) has been well below her best in her past two after a solid return but comes in off a quick freshen and is worth keeping safe in wider exotics.
