Verdict

NARALINGA (2) is a lightly raced six-year-old in great form, winning two of the last three and loving heavy ground. Hard to fault and goes close, especially if it's a slog. LADY MEMPHIS (12) resumed nine days ago over 5f at Murray Bridge and was only beaten 0.8 lengths into fifth. Has a very strong second-up record. Faces an easier assignment so she can make amends despite the tricky gate. TALKIN' ITALIAN (3) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 2.5 lengths over 5 ¾f at Geelong. Very well placed here and on recent form looks a top chance. SKYTALKER (5) comes here off a break of six months. Scored over 6f at Bunbury to launch the last campaign. Makes plenty of appeal. SATAY CHICKEN (1) was a fresh-up winner then sixth at Naracoorte last time. Gets a chance to atone.
