PETIT EAGLE (4) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over the mile at Murray Bridge, finishing fourth and beaten 1.2 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. WILD RUBY (3) did well to score at Echuca two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when fifth over 7f at Seymour, beaten 1.75 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. I LOVE THIS SONG (10) ran on well to get up for third at very long odds at his latest appearance at Strathalbyn over 6 ¾f. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. MOANA'S FORTUNE (1) was last sighted winning over 1 ?m at Balaklava on July 30. CWill likely need the run but is lightly raced and deserves safe keeping. JOHNNY CIGAR (7) was a flashing light fresh and then left himself with too much to do again last time. If the pace is strong he can cause a late scare.
