CICALA (11) has not had much joy with her barrier draws in her last couple of starts, but has still been going great races, finishing fifth in the Listed Leon Macdonald Stakes just over 3 weeks ago. She has won a trial since then, and will have Jamie Melham over to ride, which is a very strong lead. On top. SNOOPY NOW (9) dropped back to 6f as a tune-up for this race and hit the line powerfully late to finish fourth. He has won a trial since that effort 18 days ago, and with the step up to 1m, he will be hard to hold out. BOOTLEGGER (2) is a very progressive gelding who will still be on the up with his fitness after a last start all the way win in the Leon Macdonald. He cops another tough gate, but if he finds the front again, then watch out. AIR ASSAULT (1) finished runner-up behind the third pick in the same race last time out. He has won 4 of his 7 starts third up in the past and should go close to taking this out. REMATCH (12) is very consistent, so keep him safe.
