MISSISSIPPI MILLER (4) gives away starts but is racing well enough to win with average luck in the run. He got to within 1.2L at Tatura his latest and is well-placed with a 4lbs claimer engaged. SHIMSHALAR (2) will be fancied building on his narrow defeat at Mt Gambier first-up. He led beaten a nose at Murray Bridge prior and is proven second-up. He may control the race and the longer sprint won't bother. SANDRINE (6) resumed improved and then didn't appreciate the 3-day backup at Mildura. She's had 52 days to get over that and keeps the handy 7lbs claim. Goes fresh and is in the mix. SEA MIST (3) was hard to miss first up and if able to settle closer from the better draw, she should take some holding out.
