SIAM EMERALD (4) is long overdue. Placed four of his last five, the last two at around this trip. Has the blinkers added today and is expected to go close despite a sticky draw. TOWNTOTOWN (12) is also third-up from a spell. Ran on hard to place fresh over 7 ½f then got home hard to place over a mile last time. Fitter again and the extra trip is a big plus. PITMAN (8) found the mile too short two back then went to 1 ¼m latest and was just off the speed and boxed on fairly for fourth. That was his first try at the longer journey and better for it. Should give a sight here. DOUBLET (6) is yet another close to a win and looks suited out in journey. At top after four runs in and has placed last two.
