CHARMING DEEL (2) has raced up on the pace but lacked the kick required in two runs this prep over shorter journeys. Peak rating last time in work came when successful over this trip at Geelong in a BM62. Has a tough draw but otherwise this looks a dream scenario. CARNIVAL RICHES (6) went back from the outside gate then stormed home to get the cash in a 1m BM56 at Bendigo last time out. Has won third-up in the past so although up in grade expect her to hold the good form. LIMOSA (7) closed strongly in a couple of impressive performances in similar races to this here in September. Failed in Adelaide last start but can bounce back in this more suitable assignment. CATCH THE MOON (3) did nothing first-up over 7f at Geelong but this is a preferable set-up. THE DAILY PLANET (4) disappointed here last time but may improve on a firmer track today.
