You will need to go a long way to find a weaker TAB maiden than this. MADAME PETITE (8) started second favourite on debut last start over this distance at Yarra Valley but failed to pass a runner after settling last. Maybe the soft track contributed so give her another chance on a good deck. MISS LIL (6) returns from a 264-day spell. Form last prep was underwhelming to say the least. Dean Yendall rides for the first time - can play a role if she brings her best form. GUNNATIPPATINNIE (3) is a Kermadec three-year-old on debut. Placed in a recent Geelong jump-out. Won't need to be a star to test this field. PEE PLATER (2) last raced when he worked home well to be beaten under four lengths over 5 ½f at Ararat in May. Two recent trials should have him up to the mark. DANSEUR NOBLE (1) has won a couple of recent Murray Bridge jump-outs and should give a good account on debut.
