Verdict

ALWAYS FREE (5) is knocking on the door in three runs to date and looks very well placed. She just found one better on debut and has been close up in two minor placings since, switching to synthetic at Ballarat last time. Back to turf should suit here and she'll be very hard to catch up in trip. THE VICTORIOUS (4) has placed in his past couple of starts, boxing on gamely for third last time at Donald. The two runs for Tage Weir have been good and he can break through. JANEY BOPPER (8) was sent out favourite last time when third over 1 ?m at Casterton. She's had a few chances but is going well enough to figure here. SPECKY BOY (3) was back a long way in trip last time and had no hope, this suits much better. CAMEGITCHEE (7) was fair fresh but can improve sharply with a nice map.
