Verdict

ATAEGINA (4) will find this much more to her liking than last start, when she was tested in BM78 grade at Flemington. Never a factor there, but was beaten in a photo in a 0-66 at Bendigo the start prior, a repeat of which would make her clearly the testing material here. STAR BLAZER (1) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1 5/16m at Narrandera. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. LIGHTNING FLASH (5) did a great job to score by 6 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. FORREST GUMP (2) ran below expectations last time at Echuca over 7f, finishing fourth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Blinkers are removed. Among the leading chances. CAPTAIN BARBOSSA (7) has had three runs back from a spell and while well held in each, he'll be better for them and has trialled well since the latest.
