Verdict

Fascinating race that top local trainer Andrew Dale has set his sights on with a big team, most of whom have trialled up nicely. Mornington visitor WOOSH (14) will give them something to beat, though, having looked good in a couple of jumpouts since her solid debut third placing at Listed level in Tassie. Dale quickly scratched two of his six acceptors who drew wide, but is still well-represented by SNITZEL TYCOON (13) and CHA CHING KING (6) in particular. Both have won their two latest jumpouts, each seemingly having a bit in hand, and Snitzel Tycoon gets the nod of that pair owing to a better draw but it wouldn't shock if they finish the other way around. FROSTED AMBER (3) is another local who's had the benefit of a four-start campaign and while she wasn't able to win she was good in most starts. Should be primed after three trials this time in. LIGHTWATCH (17) is another who resumes after performing well in handy races last prep and won a recent trial.
