KARBURAN (5) resumed and justified the strong betting push to score by 3 lengths in a 2m hurdle at Warrnambool. Was having his first start for the Bobbin stable and with the extra fitness is a decent chance to repeat. STOCKMAN (1) resumed with a long-neck defeat in a Hamilton Hurdle over 2m, behind Point Nepean. Started a $2.05 favourite and had been well prepared for the return. Will be better for that, and he's also a winning chance. EYE FOR AN EYE (3) was also popular with punters, winning a 2m hurdle at Hamilton on his jumps debut. Had won a 66 on the flat prior, and the on-pacer will take pegging back. Wary of GOLDEN CRUSADER (4). Won a Ballarat hurdle by a big space before a spell and will be better for the first-up outing over 1 ¼m at Flemington. Had come off a Hamilton 2m trial win and Pateman is reunited.
