POMAH (1) is a lightly raced mare going well. Ran on hard on heavy ground fresh to land the maiden win then wound up strongly this course and distance last time and just missed. At top and can go one better. Likewise, SPEX (2) is a progressive galloper who was narrowly beaten in a three-way photo fresh then got off the mark with an all-the-way win at Echuca last time over 6 ½f. Has further upside and will take catching again. QUEEN AMANJENA (5) will also be up on pace and will give a sight. Boxed on well here two back to place then placed again at Hamilton last time. Overdue and gets her chance. SINISTER SAUCE (3) is a handy type resuming and while might be better over a mile looks well placed this grade fresh. NO OVERTAKING (4) is a third-up winner and can improve sharply.
