PLATINUM RUSH (11) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Not the best away last time and the placing was better than it looked. With a better start should prove hard to hold out. BOSS BUNDLE (1) is still a maiden after 12 starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 6 ½f at Bendigo following a minor placing at Sale when fresh from a spell the run prior. Capable of a big finish. SO STAR (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of seven months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 7f at Terang. Fitter for two trials and expected to feature fresh. TED PERCY (6) was beaten for speed on debut last start then worked home honestly to finish fifth over 5f at Mildura. Big improver and expected to go well.
