WILLINGHAM (9) is a Justify colt who ran a bold race on debut at Geelong, showing speed to kick up from the inside gate, fighting hard to the line when beaten under a length in third. Tipping he takes plenty of improvement from that and will be very hard to catch again. ANGEL LADDER (11) resumes having been tested in the G3 Ottawa Stakes at Flemington on debut. She struggled there but this should suit much better and she's jumped out well enough. NOSTRO ROCCIA (5) is a colt by Pierro on debut for the Busuttin & Young stable who looked to jump out well recently at Cranbourne. Drawn well and should acquit himself as such. MONGOLIAN GOBI (4) is a colt by Ribchester on debut for the O'Brien yard who won a recent jump out at Werribee and should be respected. COULTER (2) wasn't bad at big odds on debut and could be an improver.
