Verdict

Keen to side with PLACENTIA BAY (3) in the last. He resumed from a very long spell over 1m at Bendigo and ran a very encouraging race to finish second, beaten 1.3 lengths. He should only improve off that and will go close if that's the case. RAZANNE (8) was a narrow maiden winner first up, struggling badly last time in tougher company when failing to beat a runner home. Drawn wide here but can bounce back. JEWEL BAY (1) doesn't win out of turn but is going okay and comes back in grade for this. He can figure. LEFT HOOK (10) was just fair last time at Geelong but was solid prior and is in the mix. BANK HEIST (4) has won two on the bounce and has to be respected again.
