Verdict

PURE PASSION (9) resumes. She had issues at her only run last campaign when beaten at $2.30 at Pakenham but her best form prior in some good races reads well. Liked her latest jumpout against some sharp types, expecting a strong run fresh. MAINMANKASH (1) was a dominant winner over this route first up, very good again up in class at Caulfield Heath last time. Has to lug the 137lbs here but will be very hard to run down. ROYAL RENDEZVOUS (7) resumes. He was a solid winner on debut at Werribee over a handy one before his form tapered off a bit. He can kick up from the inside gate and run well. KING WEST (6) resumes. He's a consistent type over these trips who should be thereabouts. TOWER BRIDGE (5) was beaten for speed over this trip fresh. Staying at 5f is the problem but he's got the ability.
