He ran a good race in strong company two back at Geelong which saw him heavily supported into $1.50 last time at Sandown Hillside, fading late there in a disappointing effort. Back slightly in trip here should suit and he might be better with something to chase here. BLUE HAWAIIAN (8) resumes. She's a promising mare who has only missed the quinella once in seven starts. She can improve with a good spell under her belt and take catching here. ROSE DE VELLOR (2) was just fair fresh at Flemington but should be better for that and comes back a notch in grade here. She can roll forward and take catching here. ROYAL TURF (5) struggled fresh over 7f but is lightly raced and back in trip could suit. PIETRO ROAD (7) ran a solid race fresh at Kembla Grange and could improve.
