NEXT JEN (3) has raced exclusively at Group and Listed level and will improve quickly off her first-up run in the Desirable Stakes over 7f at Flemington. She has a 3lbs claim and will be tough to beat if anywhere near her best. The race day should tell the story. GRAND OMAHA (6) resumes and has shown plenty in her brief career to date. Was last seen in a Group 3 over ground and this is a nice starting point. Won a recent 5f trial at Caulfield Heath by 3L and should come back further improved. HEIRONAUT (1) pushed on and led at Sale on debut and was much too good over 7f for the Maidens. He's been freshened and has jumped out twice since. Has an awkward barrier but is sure to keep improving for a top metro barn. Looks capable of taking the next step. FLORINA REGION (7) is also in good hands and third-up can show more. On her best can make the frame.
