Verdict

VANTAA (10) was hard in the market on debut at Mornington and ran a strong race over 7 ½f, beaten just a head in an encouraging effort. He should come on nicely from that and looks very hard to beat. Wary of ABAYA (11) who hit the line strongly first up in a strong race before an even effort at Geelong in a bit of a messy race. She's got ability and can improve sharply. CORVIGLIA (1) ran a good race first up at Caulfield Heath, just bumping into an impressive winner there who has run well in better company since. Fitter now and looks a strong chance. MOLESWORTH (4) resumes for his second campaign with each way claims while LATASSA (8) has upside off a solid return at Bendigo and can roll forward.
