Verdict

A few last start winners to work out here. The leaning is to ASIATIC (10) for the Busuttin & Young stable. She got through the heavy going at Kyneton with a strong win first up over Tan Tat Delight, who won her next start by three lengths. Different conditions here but up in trip should suit and she can go on with it. QUEENSBURY (5) resumed with an encouraging run at Geelong when showing early speed, fitness just giving out late on the testing ground when second. He'll be better for that and his form last time in reads well. NAITANUI (2) resumed with a strong maiden win at Ararat, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Looks to have come back better this time around and can measure up. TASSRON (3) resumes having shown good ability last time in, albeit over a touch further. He draws for every chance. CAPTAINS CHOICE (1) was a shock winner here last start at $91 but it was only his second start.
