GENERAL BLU (4) looks the one to beat. He debuted at Geelong over 5 ?f and ran an eye-catching second, drawing wide there and getting right back to last before rattling home to be beaten a nose. He gets the golden switch to barrier two here and will take a power of beating. SPARKLING LUCK (8) resumes. He showed good ability in his debut campaign and has trialled well leading in. He can roll forward here and measure up with natural improvement. DAMA ROYALE (10) has placed in both runs back from a spell over 5f at Cranbourne. Up to 6f should suit now and she can take this out. BRADFORD (1) was just fair in a similar race here fresh but should be fitter and can improve. CLANSMAN (3) is a Flying Artie gelding on debut for the Moloney yard who has trialled well leading in and can figure.
