ANGEL IN BLACK (10) resumes for her second campaign. She showed good ability last time in, including running sixth in a Group 3 race having been close up in two maidens prior. Should be better this time around and can win fresh. CACCHIONE (2) was sent out $2.70 last start at Caulfield Heath and battled behind a good one having stuck on gamely fresh. This suits nicely and he'll be very hard to run down. POETIC WAY (8) is a gelding by Lucky Vega on debut for the Grahame Begg yard. Jumpouts just fair but respecting top yard and jockey. IMMORTALISED (5) resumes. He mixed his form a bit last time in but showed glimpses and can run well. BEAUTIFUL BEVY (11) resumes as a lightly raced filly who could improve.
