LINKENHOLT (3) looks nicely placed at his third career start having improved nicely up to 1 ¼m last start at Pakenham when closing off well into third. The extra 1f here should only be in his favour again and he draws for a soft run. ITSAGIVEN (9) has been thereabouts in three runs this time in, through the same race as Linkenholt at Pakenham when sent out $3.70 and battling into fourth. Onto the synthetic here could suit better. CREUSA (7) was fifth there, also in the market, and is another bred to stay who could appreciate firmer footing. LUXOR GOLD (4) is off a let up but has the ability to challenge.
