Verdict

Pretty tough finish but expecting BOLD SUITOR (3) to give a sight. Fourth at Sandown two back in tougher grade then not beaten far at Bendigo again in tougher grade latest. Handles the soft ground and with the claim will give a sight. LAKE GILLEAR (6) hasn't won for nearly a year but is well placed here. Course and distance winner and has won in the conditions. Going better than form suggests and gets chance to feature. BRING THE THUNDER (7) has more upside than most and presents fitter for two runs back. Not beaten far last time in similar conditions and should run well. DAZZLING SECRET (5) was well held last time in richer company and was a winner the start prior. Can bounce back in this easier company. SCHRODER'S MISTAKE (2) is tough to beat if near his best.

Horse Racing Basic Terms

Tack

The equipment the horse wears, including saddle and bridle. A jockey typically has their own racing saddle, placed on each horse they ride just before the race.
