Verdict

Another competitive race. KASTUN STAR (3) will race forward, and he ran out of steam late when resuming over 7f at Terang. His metro and provincial form over 7 ½f stacks right up for this, including second-up. Tough to beat. NO GREATER VUE (1) resumed much improved, winning a Colac Maiden in good style for the new yard. Went close at Swan Hill following over 7f and will be better for that. The in-form Gordon stays aboard and, from an inside barrier, will give the lightly-raced improver every chance. ANTALIAN (6) led and deserved her 7 ½f Maiden win at Ballarat. Keeps improving and maps well. Keeps John Allen and can take the next step without surprise. DUAL AWARD (2) has been racing in better company, and three back placed over 7 ½f at Sandown Lakeside. Has been briefly freshened, and the blinkers come off. He has to be kept safe. PRO AUSSIE (4) is in a top barn and has more to give second-up. Rates a chance as well.
